Best Show on Television might be a bit of a stretch, especially with So You Think You Can Dance, and America's Got Talent ruling the summer rankings. Okay, maybe not that big of a stretch.

BTW, I'm sure you are already aware of this, but you can now purchase the WB Aquaman pilot on iTunes for $1.99

So, if I've got this correctly, BSG is supposed to premiere in early October and run for 20 consecutive weeks?

Cuz that would be... *faints*

j, americs's got talent is quite great, but believe it or not, BSG is better. i think that while the name has given the show a brand that people remember, it also makes people think it is a cheesy space opera, which it certainly is not.

tyler, i think that there is going to be a 4 week break mid season during the christmas holidays, but i cn deal with a short break after waiting like 8 months for the season to start!

So if its not a cheesy space opera, what is it exactly? Is it like any other shows? How would you describe it?

I'm not sure but from what I remember, JMS (Amazing SPider-man) used to write scripts for BSG. I think that's where he came from before writing for Comic Books.

j, BSG is more of a political drama with sci fi elements. there are robots, but they are man-made. and there arent any alien species other than the main "human" race. the show is good at bringing in current events with a spin. for example, would abu ghraib (sp) have been wrong if they prisoners were robots? is it wrong to rig an election if the opponent is a traitor? its more about those sorts of things than blowing up space ships... though there are plenty of exploding space ships too.

Rico, Good to see you are alive. If not for the blog, I wouldn't have seen you in a couple weeks.
