I predict that my money will not be contributing to this one for quite some time. At least I hope not. There's only so much I can do to resist social pressure.

I saw it this morning at the 10am showing, (I had nothing better to do), and I went in with pretty low expectations so I wasn't disappointed. It was ok. Nothing more, nothing less. It certainly wasn't bad, but I'd also say the joke has definitely run it's course.

One of the most thrilling things was that the actual Transformers trailer I saw on the beginning of the movie was totally different than the one posted on Yahoo yesterday! Almost the entire second half of the trailer had new scenes interspersed with what I saw last night.

I'm telling you guys, THAT is the summer movie this year. I will be there on opening day, come hell or high water, (to borrow one of my parents' phrases)...

I saw it today too. J Jones was kind enough to provide me with free tickets. my little one was a little wild since this was her first movie experience, but i still saw most of the movie.

there were some funny parts, i especially liked it when gingerbread man's life flashed before his eyes. and when gingy craped his pants.

the weakness in the story was that justin timberlake's artie didnt really bring a lot to the table. good additions were captain hook and snow white. i will probably do a full scale review soon for Ink Blots, but until then, i will say this is basically more shrek. if you likes the firts 2, you will probably enjoy this one too. just dont expect a fresh angle or anything.

and with early reports of a weekend take between 130 and 150 million, shrek 4 is 100% guaranteed.
