13 Proves to be Moderately Lucky

Smoothing its way to the top this weekend was the summer's 4th 3quel Ocean's 13, though the heist was a bit less than hoped for. At this point, Ocean's 14 is a real long shot. Surf's Up also underperformed, a big Bogus for Sony Animations future prospects... I mean if you can't cash in on penguins, what's left? As for the current batch in the race. Spidey is "Peter"ing out but has achieved the $325 mil mark. Shrek hit $275 and still has some gas in the tank, and Pirates has peg-legged it past $250 mil.

Next week, The Silver Surfer will Rise to the #1 spot for the weekend, and Nancy Drew will hopefully be another bomb.

Current Rankings:

#8 Surf's Up - $18,000,000 (-.-%)*
#7 Georgia Rule - $18,444,280 (-.-%)*
#6 28 Weeks Later - $27,625,000 (-.-%)*
#5 Ocean's 13 - $37,080,000 (-.-%)*
