Taking another unexpected turn, the 8th film in Marvels line of animated DtVs is rumored to be Marvel Zombies. So far, the line has produced Ultimate Avengers, Ultimate Avengers 2, Iron Man (an Avenger), and Doctor Strange. Up next is the oddly chosen for mature audiences Next Avengers , a Teen Titanesque take on who...? The Avengers. Then is the interesting sounding Hulk Smash (also an Avenger) and then Thor (another Avenger). Then we come to this Zombie project.
I really hope this doesn't just turn out to be Zombie Avengers. Marvel has a whole lot of characters that are getting blacklisted from these DtVs. Why no Daredevil, Ghost Rider, X-Men, Fantastic Four, SPIDER-MAN? What about a Venom movie, or Punisher, Even bloody Wolverine. He seems to pop up everywhere else. So far, DC's Superman: Doomsday and Justice League: New Frontier seem to be head an shoulders above these Marvel movies. Well, at least we aren't getting Marvel babies, or even Baby Avengers (though I guess we are getting Teen Avengers, so not too far off =( ).

Maybe its cheaper to keep doing the Avengers because they've already got the character models done. Who knows?
I still think that the Marvel zombies first appearance in Ultimate Fantastic Four was great, especially with Greg Land's amazing artwork. I just hope if there is a Marvel Zombies movie it does the books justice and doesn't wind up toned down. Well, the first series had gray blood and gore for some reason but still.
Damn! Now I'll never know know how Baby Doc Ock got his arms!
This is the first I've heard of a HULK SMASH animated movie. Hrm...

Hulk Smash will be EITHER Hulk vs Thor or Hulk vs Wolverine. Personally, I hope Hulk rips Wolverine in half.
