A Galactic(a) Endeavor - Rapture (3x12)

The "Eye" was a supernova that occurred 4000 years ago. D'Anna, promted by the hybrid goes to the planet. In the temple, she learns the identities of the final five Cylons (the ones who are not spoken of). Baltar thinks he is one, and hopes he is as he would then not be a traitor. Baltar is captured and will be not be a popular guest back on Galactica.

Athena gets the baby (Helo kills her to transport her into a new body on the Cylon ship) , and Caprica Six helps her escape because she believes the children are our future.

Apollo also commands Dualla to risk her life to rescue a shot down Starbuck. Not a decision that will be popular with the wife.

5 out of the final 5 Cylons.

A Galactic(a) Endeavor - The Eye of Jupiter (3x11)

The algae planet somehow (hes a Cylon) calls Chief Tyrol to "The Temple of Five." Its another marker to Earth (the eye of jupiter). The eye was seen before as a painting done by Starbuck on Caprica. What does it all mean?

The Cylons also show up thanks to Hybrid ramblings and Baltar. A standoff ensues. Adama will nuke the planet if the Cylons try to go there, and if the human bring "the eye" up, they will be destroyed. Also Athena and Helo learn that their kid is alive.

This was a pretty good episode, but the cliffhanger was too reminiscent of the Pegasus showdown. 4 out of 5 pretty designs.

A Galactic(a) Endeavor - The Passage (3x10)

There is some technobable in this episode. Galactica's cloned beef supply got tainted and the need food fast. Somehow they know there is an algae planet on the other side of a star cluster, and they only have enough time to go through the cluster rather than around. Radiation requires raptors to lead civilian ships though. Some ships are lost.

Kat, Starbuck's rival, loses one, then loses a second. Determined not to lose the second she stays in the radiation way too long. She guides the ship to safety, get promoted to CAG, and dies. Bye Kat. Meow.

The over exposure and brightness of the star cluster is a cool effect. This was a pretty good episode that actually redeemed Kat just in time to kill her. The plot may not make sense if I was to actually think about it. Oh well. 4 out of 5 radio isotopes.

A Galactic(a) Endeavor - Unfinished Business (3x09)

Ah, the infamous boxing episode. Scores are settled in the ring and flashbacks fill us in on the good year of New Caprica. Starbuck and Apollo did the deed, and the next day, Starbuck decided to marry Anders. Thats why Apollo is mad at her. He married Dualla as retaliation.

I enjoyed seeing Adama beat down on Chief Tyrol. This was a good episode for having virtually no sci fi element to it. Not being a fan of the big love quadrangle, I have to lower my score a bit. This one earns 3 out of 5 million dollar babies.

A Galactic(a) Endeavor - Hero (3x08)

Bulldog, a pilot under Adama prewar, escaped from Cylon captivity. Turns out, Adama shot him down after a black ops mission went awry. He is not too happy about that. He tries to kill Adama, but Cy-Tigh stops him. Galactica was Adama's "graceful retirement."

Decent, if not forgettable episode, though it does balance out the idea that the humans somewhat provoked the war... Though The Cylon response was a bit drastic.

3 out of 5 bulldogs.

A Galactic(a) Endeavor - A Measure of Salvation (3x07)

Galactica has a chance to end the Cylon war by luring a resurrection ship, and killing the infected prisoners. Helo hates genocide and kills the prisoners before the plan can be carried out. Adama is ok with it as he also frowns on genocide. Baltar and D'anna are getting to be closer at the expense of Caprica 6.

Kind of a disappointing resolution to the teased Cylon defeat. Still nice to see life on a base star.

4 out of 5 dead skinjobs.

Trailer Hell, Handbasket Not Included

I am more excited for this movie than I expected to be. This looks hella good.

A Galactic(a) Endeavor - Torn (3x06)

OK, tonight is the premier of season 4, so some of these may be brief.

This episode introduced the prophetic Cylon hybrid. Baltar helps the Cylons on thier quest for Earth. He leads them to a beacon, but the beacon has a virus on it that infects the Cylons. Fearing spread via resurrection, the infected are abandoned. Cyclops Tigh and Starbuck are ornery, complaining that New Caprica was worse than anything. They stir up contention among their rescuers. Adama benches them until they get their acts together.

I liked the built up of this episode. The search for Earth is finally underway. What will Galactica do with the sick Cylons...?

4 out of 5 cases of encephalitis.

Out with The Batman and in with Batman and Friends

Its certainly a departure from the stylistic The Batman. Could be a cool show, but I hope this one doesn't skew too young (as opposed to all those Batman cartoons for 30 years olds out there).

The Future is Now, Almost

Take a look at the upcoming Futurama Movie 2 cover art (Coming June 24)! Bender's Big Score was awesome, better than the Simpsons Movie. Bravo! Hopefully a trailer is coming soon.
